The Boki by Hofunix Arts was born from experience, knowledge and passion in 2010.
I love taking pictures and preserving them hand crafted but when the loads of pictures pile up too high and costly for me, I turn to photobooks instead, which are as elegant and durable.
A good friend of mine, Niko, appreciate the flair in me and hence request my assistance to realise her dream, creating a portfolio of her photography works. We spent two weeks sourcing for bookmaker, selecting pictures and designing the layouts of the pages; customising it to her preference.
In the meanwhile, I was also preparing my seventh wedding anniversary photo album. Not liking the design and finishing the store can offer, I opt to create one myself. As a bookscrapper, I added a personal touch to the photobook cover. I thought; "wouldn't it be nice if everyone could have a customised photobook of their own?".
Under the encouragement of Niko and remembering a lady asking a bookscrapping store if a pre-made scrapbook album could be purchased, I founded The Boki to help busy folks create photobooks with my expertise, the stress-free way.
